CERRM delegation have been visited South Sumatera, Indonesia. Dr Ir Achmad Fauzi Wahab, who is FKASA expatriate lecturer and local Palembang origin, manage to arrange several key meetings with South Sumatera Governor's representative, Palembang's Wali Kota, Research and Development Department and also Reactor of University of SriWijaya. Among the topic discussed during the meeting was long term collaboration with UMP to send the undergraduate, masters and Phd students. A possible scholarship from both parties depends to further discussion.
The main purpose of our visit is to seek any opportunity to do a research collaboration and consultation project.


We also manage to meet two Senior Professor from the university to discuss any possible research collaboration. A quick visit to both SriWijaya campus also arrange by our host.

The five day trip is very fruitful and the Sumatera people is looking forward to kick off the collaborations works.
