The officer nowadays quiet advance in searching the evidence for the document submitted by the applicants. One of my friends who his car was held by the authority said that the Malaysian custom officer cross check with UK DVLA to rectify the authenticity of the document. Those who are planning to bring in the car are advised to follow the procedure closely.
